IGS co-hosts a sea ice symposium every 5 years. The Centre for Earth Observation (University of Manitoba) is excited to be hosting the first to be held in Canada.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Get involved at the IGS symposium by volunteering for one of many opportunities. By volunteering at the symposium you have the opportunity to listen and learn about cutting edge Arctic and Antarctic climate change research from leading national and international scientists.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Registration Desk Assistants
  • Info/Ask Me Attendants
  • Session Assistants (timing, assisting co-chairs, etc.)
  • Mid-Week Excursion Leaders
  • Side Meeting Assistants (asset with logistics, AV, hospitality)
